Talia is a Connecticut native who began practicing yoga in 2017 as a way to reconnect mind and body. What started as a physical practice has since blossomed into a path of intentional mindfulness. She completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training under the mentorship of Kristin Cork of Be Yoga in Avon, CT. Talia’s intention as a teacher is to create a welcoming and approachable space for students of all levels. She encourages inward listening, honoring each student’s innate wisdom, and meeting oneself with compassion, curiosity, and presence – both on and off the mat. A lifelong learner, she is currently pursuing additional training in mindfulness and somatic therapy, further deepening her ability to guide students toward embodied awareness. Outside of the studio, Talia finds joy in life’s simple moments: spending time in nature, hunting for thrifted treasures, perusing the shelves of local bookstores and spending time with family, friends and her golden retriever, Piper.
